Baskets and Doilies, Trims and Bells

Designs are free Standing lace, Cut work lace,
the Ribbons need Fabric and Stabilizer

Available Formats DST, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX,

Design's that are Stand alone Lace
I used 2 layers of Vilene,
number 12 schmetz universal needle,
40 weight Madeira Rayon thread top and bottom ( if needed)
Lay flat to dry hard. I pin to a piece of styrofoam I found pinning to a styrofoam block the best way to dry

This set includes a six sided baskets in 3 sizes,
and a 6 sided bells , in 3 Sizes,
also included in 3 sizes , the doily 9, 10, 11
there are 5 sizes of cut work hearts
and 5 sizes of ribbons for use on fabric

Basket Sew out and Assembly

Stitch out 6 designs for each basket .
trim, and sew the pieces together

Leaving one side open
Sew the basket center in place

Turn and then sew up the last basket seam

rinse under warm water for a few seconds only

I cut a styrofoam section to fit in the basket bottom for shaping

Lay over a bowl for drying

Alternative Basket assemble 2 My preference

Trim access and pin to styrofoam
Take to the sink and rinse excess off
I have a spray hose on my sink worked perfect.
Now sew to gether as above
The smallest basket is a bit small
so I sewed the sides together and
used Aleen's Glue to attach the bottom

Doily Assembly

For the doily. you will need 12 parts
Sew 6 parts together
be sure to match the lines in the designs

Now sew the 2 big parts together. Voila done

Rinse under that tap for a few seconds
now pint to a styrofoam board.

Dried finished doily

Acccessories, Cut work, partial FSL Lace Trims and Borders

Extra parts can be used as endless lace borders, cut work,
Many things can be accomplished with these extras
Even the Bell Sections, doily sections etc,
make gorgeous endless borders on a wedding gown
